Supervision of Supervision

A supervision-of-supervision journey supporting newer and re-engaging coaching supervisors through 2027

A 6-session supervision-of-supervision program combining group and 1:1 supervision over the course of the 2027 calendar year, with CSA Accredited Coach Supervisors Kendra Nitta and Vimla Gulabani. This is a deeply reflective journey to help ground your practice in your supervision philosophy, attend to your own resourcing, and connect with your ethical obligations.

Each supervision cadre is limited to 4 supervisees, and each supervisee receives a total of 11 hours of supervision: 9 hours of group work and 2 hours of 1:1 supervision.

Who This Is For

These intimate cadres are designed for coaching supervisors who have completed an EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) supervision training program and are in the first 150 hours of supervision practice, specifically:

  • coaching supervisors who have recently (within the past 5 years) completed supervision training; and
  • coaching supervisors who completed training before or during the global pandemic and are looking to re-engage with or grow their supervision practice.

  • Goldvarg Coaching Group: Coaching Supervision Certification
  • Oxford-Brookes University: Professional Certificate of Advanced Study in Coaching Supervision

Dates & Cost

Cadres will receive supervision 1–2 times per quarter in 2027.

  • Cadre A: starts February 1, ends October 4
  • Cadre B: dates to be announced
  • Cadre C: dates to be announced
  • Cadre D: dates to be announced

Our approach is to charge a single fee for the 11-hour program, so your cost will depend on the number of supervisees in your cadre. For this program, our fee is US$3,800, meaning your cost will be:

  • US$1,900 each for a cadre of 2 members (US$173 per hour of supervision)
  • US$1,266 each for a cadre of 3 members (US$115 per hour of supervision)
  • US$950 each for a cadre of 4 members (US$86 per hour of supervision)

If lower cost is a priority for you, we encourage you to join with two or three other supervisors to reduce your per-person fee. We will also do our best to connect you with others to form a full 4-member supervision cadre, if you indicate that preference during the sign-up process. You will also have the option during sign-up to form a smaller cadre (2 or 3 members) at the associated per-member rate above.

Sign-ups close 2 weeks before Session 1, and invoices will go out for any balance due (US$316 or US$950, depending on cadre size).

Deposit & Refund Policy

  • Deposit: US$950, paid at sign-up
  • Balance due (if any): any balance (US$316 or US$950, depending on final cadre size) will be invoiced 2 weeks before Session 1 and is due 1 week before Session 1
  • Refunds:
    • The deposit is 100% refundable on or before 4 weeks prior to Session 1
    • The deposit is 50% refundable between 2 and 4 weeks prior to Session 1
    • The deposit is nonrefundable starting 2 weeks prior to Session 1
    • Failure to pay the balance due by 1 week prior to Session 1 will result in forfeiture of the deposit
    • We will refund your entire deposit if we or you are able to fill your space in the cadre before Session 1

  • If cancellations or withdrawals result in a 1-member cadre, you will be given the option to join a different cadre or receive five sessions of individual supervision (6 hours total) over the course of 2027
